Pasticcio di ziti con vongole e carciofi fritti

Ingredienti: 250g di ziti, 250 g di carciofini, 50g di grana,300g di vongole, prezzemolo, aglio, farina qb, sale, pepe, olio extra vergine d’oliva, olio di semi di arachide Spezzare e lessare gli ziti in acqua bollente salata, scolarli dopo sei minuti e accomodarli accostati in una teglia, grattugiare sopra il grana e infornare a 180° per 10 minuti. Affettare i carciofini non troppo sottilmente. In una padella far schiudere le vongole con aglio, olio, gambi di prezzemolo, e qualche carciofino affettato. Sgusciare le vongole, conservare qualche valva e tenere in caldo. Infarinare i restanti carciofini e friggerli in olio di semi di arachide. Sfornare gli ziti, e impiattarli con l’intingolo di vongole e con i carciofini fritti.

Mandarin Cheesecake Squares Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 1/2 cups vanilla wafers, crushed
<br>- 1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
<br>- 1 (15 ounce) can DOLE® Mandarin Oranges
<br>- 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
<br>- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
<br>- 1 (8 ounce) container orange or peach yogurt
<br>- 3/4 cup sugar
<br>- Fresh mint leaves (optional)
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: Stir together wafer crumbs and margarine until blended. Press mixture evenly into bottom of ungreased 8-inch square baking pan. Chill while preparing filling.
<br>step 2: Drain mandarin oranges; reserving 1/4 cup syrup. Sprinkle gelatin over reserved syrup, in small bowl; let stand 2 minutes. Microwave mixture on HIGH 30 seconds or until gelatin dissolves (or heat mixture in a saucepan, stirring until gelatin is dissolved).
<br>step 3: Beat cream cheese with yogurt and sugar on medium speed of electric mixer until blended. Beat in gelatin mixture until smooth.
<br>step 4: Spread one half cream cheese mixture over crust. Sprinkle half mandarin oranges over filling. Spread remaining filling over oranges. Garnish top with remaining oranges. Cover; refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or until firm.
<br>step 5: Garnish top of dessert with fresh mint leaves if desired; cut into squares to serve. Refrigerate any leftovers.

Ingredients
<br>- 1 cup butter
<br>- ¼ cup white sugar
<br>- 1 teaspoon almond extract
<br>- ½ teaspoon salt
<br>- 2 cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
<br>- ¾ cup any flavor fruit jam

<br>step 1: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C).
<br>step 2: Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the almond extract and the salt. Stir in the flour and mix well.
<br>step 3: Shape tablespoonfuls of the dough into walnut-sized balls then roll the balls in sesame seeds to cover completely. Place balls on ungreased cookie sheets and flatten slightly. With your thumb, indent the center of each cookie. Fill indentations with jam or preserves.
<br>step 4: Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove cookies from baking sheets and let cool on a rack. Store cooled cookies in an air-tight container.

<br>step 2: Arrange tomato slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle each slice lightly with olive oil, spreading oil evenly with finger if necessary. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, monosodium glutamate (if using), and oregano. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
