Quick and Easy Cherry Bars Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 cup butter, softened
<br>- 1 ¾ cups white sugar
<br>- 4  eggs
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
<br>- 1 pinch salt
<br>- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
<br>step 2: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of the dough and spread the rest into the bottom of the prepared pan. Cover this layer evenly with cherry pie filling. Drop the rest of the dough by spoonfuls on top of the cherry layer and spread to cover the best you can.
<br>step 3: Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until top is golden. Frost with a confectioners' glaze when cool for sweeter bars. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

<br>- 4  skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
<br>- 3 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
<br>- 1 (5.5 ounce) package seasoned croutons
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
<br>step 2: Place chicken breasts in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with croutons and pour soup over all; mix together so that croutons are covered in soup.
<br>step 3: Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (no longer pink).

Berry Trifle Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 (10.75 ounce) package prepared pound cake, cubed
<br>- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen blueberries
<br>- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen raspberries
<br>- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen blackberries
<br>- 2 tablespoons praline liqueur
<br>- 1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
<br>- ½ cup milk
<br>- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
<br>- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: Place cubed cake in bottom of large glass serving bowl.  Layer the blueberries, raspberries and blackberries on top of the cake.  Sprinkle with praline liqueur.
<br>step 2: In a medium bowl, combine pudding mix, milk, condensed milk and 1 cup of whipped topping, stir well.  Pour mixture over frozen berries.  Top custard with remaining cool whip.  Let sit at room temperature for 1 hour or in refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours, enough for the berries to thaw before serving.

Ingredients
<br>- 1 cup chopped onion
<br>- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 cup milk
<br>- 3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
<br>- 1/2 cup sour cream
<br>- 1 tablespoon white sugar
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon salt
<br>- 1 pound frozen cut green beans, thawed and drained
<br>- 2 cups dry stuffing mix
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: Place thawed green beans in a 13X9 inch glass pan.
<br>step 2: Saute; onions in a large frying pan. Add flour, stir. Gradually add milk, bring to a boil. Add cheese, sour cream, sugar, and salt. Cook till thickened and cheese is melted. Pour mixture over green beans. Top with stuffing mix.
<br>step 3: Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 to 30 minutes.

<br>- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
<br>- 1 cup white sugar
<br>- 1 cup butter
<br>- 1 cup vegetable oil
<br>- 1 pinch salt

<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

<br>step 2: Make into balls, roll in sugar and place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
<br>step 3: Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 8 minutes.  For holidays or special occasions, roll in colored sugar instead of white sugar.
