Amish Sauerkraut Surprise Custard Pie Recipe

Ingredients

<br>- ¾ cup drained and chopped sauerkraut
<br>- ½ cup white sugar
<br>- 3  eggs
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- ¼ teaspoon salt
<br>- 1 (9 inch) pie shell

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
<br>step 2: In a large bowl, combine milk, sauerkraut, sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt.
<br>step 3: Pour mixture into pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted into filling 1 inch from the edge comes out clean.
