Apple Crunch Pie II Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 8  Macintosh apples - peeled, cored and chopped
<br>- ¼ cup white sugar
<br>- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
<br>- ½ teaspoon ground allspice
<br>- ¾ cup rolled oats
<br>- ½ cup brown sugar
<br>- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
<br>- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
<br>- ½ cup butter
<br>- ¾ cup chopped pecans
<br>- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 375  degrees F (190 degrees C).
<br>step 2: In a large bowl, combine apples, white sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and allspice. Pour filling into pie shell.
<br>step 3: In a medium bowl, combine oatmeal, brown sugar, nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Cut in the butter and mix with fingers until crumbly.  Spoon over the top of the apples. Sprinkle top with pecans.
<br>step 4: Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
