Apple Dumplings III Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
<br>- 6 apples, peeled and cored
<br>- 3/4 cup white sugar
<br>- 1 cup water
<br>- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
<br>- 2 tablespoons margarine

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C.)
<br>step 2: To make the sauce:  In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, cinnamon and margarine. Bring to a boil and continue to cook 5 minutes.
<br>step 3: Roll dough out and cut into 6 pieces. Wrap each apple in dough and place in a baking pan. Pour sauce over the wrapped apples.
<br>step 4: Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
