Appleless Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 ½ cups white sugar
<br>- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
<br>- 2 cups water
<br>- 21  buttery round crackers
<br>- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
<br>- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
<br>- 2 tablespoons butter

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
<br>step 2: In a medium saucepan, mix together sugar, cream of tartar, and water. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Drop in buttery round crackers, boil 2 minutes longer.
<br>step 3: Pour cracker mixture into pie shell. Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter.
<br>step 4: Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
