Banana Oatmeal Bread Recipe

Ingredients

<br>- 1 cup white sugar
<br>- 2 eggs, beaten
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 1 cup all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 cup quick cooking oats
<br>- 1 teaspoon baking soda
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon salt
<br>- 1/4 cup milk
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
<br>- 1 1/2 cups mashed bananas
<br>- 1/2 cup chopped raisins (optional)

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
<br>step 2: Cream together the shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until fluffy.
<br>step 3: Sift together the flour, oatmeal, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients alternately with bananas and milk. Mix until blended.
<br>step 4: Fold in raisins and pour into prepared pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes; remove from oven and cover for 5 minutes.
