Black Walnut Balls Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 cup butter, softened
<br>- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
<br>- ¼ cup white sugar
<br>- ½ teaspoon salt
<br>- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
<br>- 2 cups chopped black walnuts
<br>- ½ cup confectioners' sugar

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (170 degrees C).
<br>step 2: Blend together butter, flour, white sugar, salt, and vanilla.  Add black walnuts and mix well.
<br>step 3: Shape into 1 inch balls.  Bake for 25 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.  Remove from oven and let cool.
<br>step 4: Roll  in powdered sugar.  Store flat - not stacked on top of each other.
