Black Walnut Balls Recipe
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup white sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped black walnuts
- ½ cup confectioners' sugar
step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (170 degrees C).
step 2: Blend together butter, flour, white sugar, salt, and vanilla. Add black walnuts and mix well.
step 3: Shape into 1 inch balls. Bake for 25 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Remove from oven and let cool.
step 4: Roll in powdered sugar. Store flat - not stacked on top of each other.
