Blonde Brownies IV Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- ½ cup margarine, melted
<br>- 1 cup brown sugar
<br>- ½ cup white sugar
<br>- 2  eggs
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 2 cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 teaspoon baking powder
<br>- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
<br>- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
<br>- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

<br>step 1: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan or two 8x8 inch pans.
<br>step 2: In a medium bowl, mix together the melted margarine, brown sugar and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, and baking soda , gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Spread evenly into the prepared pan, and sprinkle the chocolate chips and pecans over the  top.
<br>step 3: Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven until surface of cookies appears dry. Cool, and cut into squares.
