Bread Dumplings Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 10  white dinner rolls
<br>- 2 cups lukewarm milk
<br>- 1 tablespoon butter
<br>- ½ cup diced cooked ham
<br>- 1 small onion, chopped
<br>- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
<br>- 3  eggs, lightly beaten
<br>- salt and pepper to taste
<br>- 1 pinch ground nutmeg

<br>step 1: Slice rolls finely and soak in milk, until moist but not soggy.
<br>step 2: Melt butter in a small skillet and saute ham with onion and parsley.
<br>step 3: Fill a large saucepan with salted water and bring to a boil.   Meanwhile, add eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg to bread/milk mixture and combine with ham/onion saute.  Mix well and shape into dumplings.
<br>step 4: Cook in salted water for 20 minutes and serve immediately.
