Brown Sugar Delight Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 3  egg yolks
<br>- 2 cups brown sugar
<br>- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
<br>- 2 cups heavy cream
<br>- ¼ cup butter
<br>- 3  egg whites
<br>- ⅛ cup white sugar
<br>- 1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
<br>step 2: In a saucepan, combine egg yolks, brown sugar and flour. Mix in the cream. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in butter. Pour into pre-baked pie shell.
<br>step 3: In a large glass or metal mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add white sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form. Spread meringue over pie, covering completely.
<br>step 4: Bake in preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes, or until meringue starts to brown.
