Butterscotch Chewies Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- ⅔ cup butter, softened
<br>- 1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
<br>- 2  eggs
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
<br>- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
<br>- 2 cups butterscotch chips
<br>- 1 cup chopped pecans

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
<br>step 2: In large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.  Add eggs and vanilla; beat until smooth.
<br>step 3: In medium bowl, combine flour and baking soda.  Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; stir until a soft dough forms.  Stir in butterscotch chips and pecans.
<br>step 4: Drop tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto a greased baking sheet.  Bake 7-9 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned.  Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool.  Store in single layers between waxed paper in an airtight container.
