Canadian Shortbread 'Eh' Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 2 cups butter, softened
<br>- 1 ½ cups packed light brown sugar
<br>- 4 ½ cups all-purpose flour
<br>- ¼ cup real maple syrup

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
<br>step 2: Combine the butter, sugar, flour and maple syrup, blend until smooth.
<br>step 3: On a lightly floured surface roll dough out 1/2 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
<br>step 4: Bake at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) for 20 minutes, watch carefully so as not to overcook. Let cookies cool before eating.
