Canadian Style Chop Suey Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 2 cups elbow macaroni
<br>- 1  onion, diced
<br>- 1  green bell pepper, diced
<br>- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
<br>- 1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
<br>- 1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
<br>step 2: In same pot, saute onion and bell pepper over medium heat until softened.  Remove from pan.
<br>step 3: In same pot, cook sausage over medium heat until brown.  Drain.
<br>step 4: Combine onion mixture, pasta, sausage, mushrooms and stewed tomatoes in same pot and heat through, 5 minutes.  Serve.
