Chocolate Chip Pie I Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup butter
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
Directions
step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
step 2: Beat eggs until frothy, add sugars and vanilla.
step 3: Melt butter or margarine, and add to sugar and egg mixture.
step 4: Stir in flour until well blended.
step 5: Mix in walnuts and chocolate chips.
step 6: Pour into pie pan and bake for 1 hour. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
