Chocolate Chip Scones Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 2 cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
<br>- 1/4 teaspoon salt
<br>- 1/4 cup white sugar
<br>- 3 tablespoons applesauce
<br>- 2 tablespoons water
<br>- 1/2 cup milk
<br>- 1 cup chocolate chips

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).  Lightly grease two baking sheets.
<br>step 2: In a large bowl, combine flour,  cream of tartar, baking soda, salt and sugar. Add the applesauce, water and milk; mix well. Fold in chocolate chips.  Drop large rounded spoonfuls of batter onto prepared baking sheets.
<br>step 3: Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 15 minutes. Let cool before serving.
