Chocolate Crackle Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
<br>- ⅔ cup butter
<br>- 1  egg
<br>- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 2 teaspoons baking soda
<br>- ¼ cup light corn syrup
<br>- ¼ teaspoon salt
<br>- ½ cup white sugar
<br>- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

<br>step 1: Melt chocolate chips in double boiler.  Remove from heat.
<br>step 2: Beat butter and sugar till creamy.  Add egg and syrup,  mix well.  Stir in  melted chocolate.  Add all dry ingredients and mix well.
<br>step 3: Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and roll in sugar.
<br>step 4: Place 3 inches apart on a ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)  for 12 minutes.  Let cool briefly before removing from pan.
