Chocolate Crackle Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- ⅔ cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- ¼ cup light corn syrup
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
step 1: Melt chocolate chips in double boiler. Remove from heat.
step 2: Beat butter and sugar till creamy. Add egg and syrup, mix well. Stir in melted chocolate. Add all dry ingredients and mix well.
step 3: Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and roll in sugar.
step 4: Place 3 inches apart on a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 minutes. Let cool briefly before removing from pan.
