Chocolate Peppermint Wafers Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 3 (2 ounce) bars NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Premier White Baking Chocolate, broken into pieces
<br>- 12 peppermint hard candies, crushed
<br>- 1 cup NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
<br>- 1 tablespoon shortening

<br>step 1: LINE 8-inch-square baking pan with foil.
<br>step 2: MICROWAVE baking bars in medium, microwave-safe bowl on MEDIUM-HIGH (70 percent) power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in candy. Thinly spread into prepared baking pan. Refrigerate for 10 minutes or until firm.
<br>step 3: REMOVE foil from candy; break into bite-size pieces.
<br>step 4: LINE baking sheets with waxed paper.
<br>step 5: MICROWAVE morsels and vegetable shortening in small, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100 percent) power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
<br>step 6: DIP candy pieces 3/4 of the way into melted chocolate; shake off excess. Place on prepared baking sheets. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
