Chocolaty Pecan Pie Bars Recipe
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 ⅔ cups chopped pecans
step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
step 2: In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Combine the flour and cocoa; stir in to the creamed mixture.
step 3: Bake for 12 minutes in the preheated oven. In a small bowl, stir together the egg, sweetened condensed milk and pecans. Pour over the prepared crust.
step 4: Bake for an additional 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until set and lightly browned. Cool in pan before cutting into bars.
