Coconut Macaroon Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ cup chopped pecans
- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups flaked coconut
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup water
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
Directions
step 1: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
step 2: Place pecans in bottom of pie shell.
step 3: Combine melted butter, coconut, salt, water, flour, sugar, and slightly beaten eggs. Pour filling over pecans in crust.
step 4: Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool before serving.
