Cori's Krispie Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 cup butter
<br>- ¾ cup white sugar
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 2 cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 teaspoon baking soda
<br>- ½ cup mini candy-coated chocolates
<br>- ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
<br>- 2 cups colored crispy rice cereal
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: Cream together butter or margarine, sugar, and vanilla.   Mix together flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture.  Mix well.  Stir in chocolate candy and nuts.
<br>step 2: Form dough into 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls.  Roll in puffed rice cereal, and place on lightly buttered cookie sheet.  Flatten.
<br>step 3: Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 to 20 minutes.  Cool on a wire rack.
