Divinity Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
<br>- ½ teaspoon baking soda
<br>- 1 cup white sugar
<br>- 1 cup shortening
<br>- 1  egg
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 1 cup chopped walnuts

<br>step 1: Combine dry ingredients. Cream sugar, shortening, egg and vanilla.  Mix dry ingredients into creamed mixture and blend in nuts.
<br>step 2: Roll into balls, place on cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.  Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes.
