Fiesta Grilled Ham Steak Recipe
- PAM® for Grilling
- 3/4 cup jalapeno pepper jelly
- 1 clove chopped fresh garlic
- 1 bunch chopped cilantro
- 1 (2 pound) Cook's® brand Bone-In Thick Cut Ham Steak
step 1: Spray cold grill and utensils well with cooking spray. Position grill 3 to 4 inches from heat. Heat grill according to manufacturer's suggestion.
step 2: Heat jelly and garlic in small saucepan over medium heat until jelly melts. Or, heat in microwave oven in microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100% power) 1 minute, or until melted. Stir in cilantro. Reserve 1/4 cup jelly mixture to serve with cooked ham steak.
step 3: Place ham steak on cook grate over medium heat. Grill 3 minutes. Turn ham steak over; brush with half of remaining jelly mixture and continue grilling 3 minutes. Turn ham steak again; brush with remaining jelly mixture. Continue to grill 2 minutes.
step 4: Serve with reserved jelly mixture.
