Ginger Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 cup shortening
<br>- 1 cup packed brown sugar
<br>- 1 cup molasses
<br>- 2 eggs
<br>- 4 cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 2 teaspoons baking soda
<br>- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
<br>- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
<br>- 1 teaspoon salt
<br>- 1/2 cup water

<br>step 1: In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and brown sugar. Add molasses and eggs; mix well. Combine dry ingredients; add to the creamed mixture alternately with water. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
<br>step 2: Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto greased baking sheets.
<br>step 3: Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
