- 1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles
- 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
step 1: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
step 2: Place cabbage in a steamer over 1 inch of boiling water, and cover. Cook until tender but still firm, about 6 to 8 minutes.
step 3: Heat butter in a deep skillet. Saute the onion until tender. Stir in cabbage and noodles. Season with salt and pepper.
