Homemade BBQ Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 4 eggs, beaten
<br>- 1/2 cup vodka
<br>- 1/2 cup water
<br>- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
<br>- 2 tablespoons dried minced onion flakes
<br>- 1 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste

<br>- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
<br>- 3 pounds ground beef
<br>- 2 pounds ground turkey
<br>- 1 (15 ounce) package Italian seasoned bread crumbs
<br>- 2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
<br>- 2 (14.25 ounce) cans tomato puree
<br>- 1 (18 ounce) bottle hickory smoke flavored barbeque sauce
<br>- 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
<br>- 1 cup brown sugar
<br>- 1 (14 ounce) bottle ketchup
<br>- 1/2 cup vodka
<br>- 2 tablespoons dried minced onion flakes
<br>- 1 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste

<br>step 1: In a large bowl, combine eggs, 1/2 cup vodka and Worcestershire sauce. Season with 2 tablespoons onion flakes, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix in ground beef, ground turkey and bread crumbs. Shape into meatballs, and set aside.
<br>step 2: In a very large pot over medium heat, Combine crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, barbeque sauce, pineapple, brown sugar, ketchup, and 1/2 cup vodka. Season to taste with onion flakes, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer.
<br>step 3: Heat a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs until evenly brown on all sides. Carefully place into sauce, and simmer for at least an hour.
