Hot Water Pie Crust I Recipe
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon milk
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
step 1: In a large bowl, combine shortening, salt, milk and boiling water. Whip with fork until smooth and creamy.
step 2: Add 2 cups flour and stir with round-the-bowl strokes until all flour is incorporated.
step 3: Makes crust for one double crust pie.
