Jean's Marinated Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 2 (8 ounce) packages fresh mushrooms
<br>- 2 tablespoons butter
<br>- 1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix
<br>- 1/3 cup tarragon vinegar
<br>- 2 tablespoons water
<br>- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
<br>- 1 tablespoon white sugar
<br>- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
<br>- 6 drops hot pepper sauce

<br>step 1: In a medium saucepan over low heat, cook and stir mushrooms in butter until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and place in a medium bowl.
<br>step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together dry Italian-style salad dressing mix, tarragon vinegar, water, vegetable oil, white sugar, garlic and red pepper sauce.
<br>step 3: Pour the whisked mixture over the mushrooms. Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 8 hours before serving.
