Lady Lock Filling I Recipe
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
step 1: In a saucepan combine the milk and flour, stir until blended. Cook over low heat until thick. Let cool.
step 2: Beat the sugar and the shortening until no sugar crystals remain. Add the cooled milk mixture, slowly beating until fluffy. Add vanilla extract to taste.
