Lazy Man's Pierogi Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 (16 ounce) package rotelle pasta
<br>- ½ pound bacon, chopped
<br>- 2  onions, chopped
<br>- ½ pound mushrooms, quartered
<br>- 1 tablespoon butter
<br>- 1 (16 ounce) can sauerkraut - rinsed and drained
<br>- 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
<br>- salt and pepper to taste

<br>step 1: Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
<br>step 2: Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Stir in onions, and cook until translucent. In a separate pan, saute the mushrooms in butter.
<br>step 3: In a large bowl, combine pasta, bacon, onion, mushrooms, sauerkraut and condensed soup. Season with salt and pepper. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
<br>step 4: Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes.
