Lemon Sauce for Salmon Patties Recipe
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
step 1: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour to form a smooth paste. Gradually stir in milk; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat, and stir in lemon juice, salt, and cayenne pepper.
