Lemony Skillet Chicken and Shallots Recipe
- 2 Tyson® Fresh Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 2 small shallots, sliced
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
step 1: Wash hands. Sprinkle chicken evenly with seasoning. Wash hands.
step 2: Melt butter in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and half of the shallot. Cover; cook 5 minutes. Turn chicken over. Cover; cook 3 minutes longer. Stir in remaining shallot and lemon juice. Cover; reduce heat to medium-low and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until shallot is tender, juice is slightly thickened and chicken is done (internal temp 180 degrees F).
