Lentil Soup II Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 tablespoon olive oil
<br>- 1 onion, chopped
<br>- 4 cups beef broth
<br>- 1 cup dry lentils, rinsed
<br>- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
<br>- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
<br>- salt and pepper to taste

<br>step 1: In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the oil and onions and saute for 5 minutes, or until onions are tender. Add the broth and bring mixture to a boil.
<br>step 2: Add the lentils, sauce and seasoning. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 45 minutes, or until lentils are tender. Salt and pepper to taste.
