Magic Fruitcake Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 (9 ounce) package condensed mincemeat, crumbled
<br>- ½ cup water
<br>- 1 cup chopped pecans
<br>- 1 cup candied mixed fruit peel, chopped
<br>- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
<br>- 1  egg, beaten
<br>- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 tablespoon baking soda

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Line greased pan with parchment paper and coat paper with non-stick spray.
<br>step 2: In a saucepan, combine crumbled mincemeat  and water. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. remove from heat and allow to cool.
<br>step 3: Stir in pecans, candied fruit, sweetened condensed milk, and egg. Stir in flour and baking soda until just blended. Pour into prepared pan.
<br>step 4: Bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
