Maple Corn Bread Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 1/4 cup cornmeal
<br>- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon salt
<br>- 1 egg
<br>- 3/4 cup milk
<br>- 1/2 cup maple syrup
<br>- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

<br>step 1: In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt.
<br>step 2: In another bowl, beat egg; add milk, syrup and oil. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Pour into a greased 9-in. square baking pan.
<br>step 3: Bake at 400 degrees for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes; cut into squares. Serve warm.
