Mock Pecan Pie II Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
<br>- ¼ cup unsalted butter
<br>- ½ cup packed brown sugar
<br>- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
<br>- 1 pinch ground cloves
<br>- 1 pinch salt
<br>- 1 cup dark corn syrup
<br>- 3  eggs
<br>- 1 ¼ cups wheat and barley flake cereal

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
<br>step 2: In a medium mixing bowl, cream together butter or margarine and brown sugar. Mix in cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Add corn syrup and blend until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Gently stir in cereal. Pour mixture into pastry shell.
<br>step 3: Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
