Molasses Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1/2 cup butter, softened
<br>- 1 egg
<br>- 1 cup molasses
<br>- 2 cups mashed banana
<br>- 1 cup whole wheat flour
<br>- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon salt
<br>- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
<br>- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

<br>step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
<br>step 2: In a large bowl, cream the butter. Beat in egg, molasses and banana. Mix in whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and walnuts; stir until well blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.
<br>step 3: Bake in preheated oven for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.
