No-Bake Strawberry Shortcake Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 3  eggs
<br>- 1 cup white sugar
<br>- 1 cup all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 tablespoon milk
<br>- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
<br>- 1 cup heavy cream
<br>- 2 tablespoons white sugar
<br>- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- ½ teaspoon coffee flavored liqueur
<br>- 2 pints fresh strawberries, halved
<br><p></p>Directions
<br>step 1: Butter and flour an 8x8 inch baking dish and line bottom with parchment paper.
<br>step 2: In a medium bowl, beat eggs with 1 cup sugar until foamy.  Fold in flour.  Stir in milk and butter.  Pour into prepared pan.
<br>step 3: Place pan on a rack in a hot steamer.  Steam over high heat 25 to 30 minutes, until cake springs back when touched lightly in center.  Invert on wire rack to cool completely.
<br>step 4: Whip cream with 2 tablespoons sugar until stiff peaks form.  Fold in vanilla and liqueur.
<br>step 5: Slice cooled cake into three layers.  Layer with whipped cream and strawberries.  Serve at once.
