Nugget Pie Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 ½ cups sweetened condensed milk
<br>- ⅔ cup white sugar
<br>- 2  egg yolks
<br>- 1 tablespoon butter
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 1 pinch salt
<br>- ½ cup wheat and barley nugget cereal (e.g. Grape-Nuts™)
<br>- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

<br>step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine milk and sugar. Beat in egg yolks, butter, vanilla and salt. Stir in cereal. Let mixture stand for 1/2 hour.
<br>step 2: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
<br>step 3: Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust  .
<br>step 4: Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
