Nutritious and Delicious Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 8 ounces pasta
<br>- 3 onions, minced
<br>- 8 fresh mushrooms, sliced
<br>- 1 teaspoon onion powder
<br>- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
<br>- 1 (5.5 ounce) can low-sodium, tomato-vegetable juice cocktail
<br>- 1/2 cup port wine
<br>- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
<br>- 1 bay leaf
<br>- 1 teaspoon arrowroot powder
<br>- 1 cup water

<br>step 1: Cook pasta in a large pot with boiling salted water until al dente. Drain well.
<br>step 2: Meanwhile, in a large saucepan saute the mushrooms and onions in1/2 cup of water. Add the garlic, onion powder, Port wine, tomato vegetable juice, oregano and basil. After first dissolving the arrowroot in a bowl with 1/2 cup  of water, add slowly to saucepan, stirring frequently. Thickening will occur within a minute.
<br>step 3: Add the cooked and drained pasta to the large saucepan and stir. Place lid on for 3 minutes, then serve warm.
