Oatmeal Cakes Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 teaspoon baking powder
<br>- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
<br>- 1 egg, beaten
<br>- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
<br>- 2 tablespoons water
<br>- 2 tablespoons applesauce
<br>- 1 tablespoon butter, softened

<br>step 1: In a medium mixing bowl, sift together flour and baking powder. Add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
<br>step 2: Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each cake. Cook until bubbles form in the cakes. Flip and cook the other side. Serve warm with syrup or jam.
