Oatmeal Raisin Cookies VII Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¾ cup self-rising flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups quick cooking oats
- 1 cup raisins
Directions
step 1: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
step 2: In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar, until smooth. Beat in the egg then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt: stir into the creamed mixture. Fold in the quick oats and raisins. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
step 3: Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until the edges are starting to brown. Let cool in pan before cutting into bars.
