Open-Faced Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 cup corn syrup
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
<br>- 2  eggs, beaten
<br>- 4 packets granulated artificial sweetener
<br>- ½ cup butter
<br>- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
<br>- 3 cups chopped apples

<br>step 1: Cook corn syrup, Sweet 'n' Low, butter, flour until the mixture coats a spoon. Add beaten eggs, mix well. Add vanilla and nutmeg.
<br>step 2: Put chopped apples into crust. Pour cooked mixture over apples.
<br>step 3: Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Turn oven back to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
