Orange Cookies I Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 ½ cups white sugar
<br>- 1 cup butter, softened
<br>- 1 cup sour cream
<br>- 2  eggs
<br>- 4 cups all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 teaspoon baking powder
<br>- 1 teaspoon baking soda
<br>- ½ teaspoon salt
<br>- ⅔ cup orange juice
<br>- 3 tablespoons orange zest

<br>step 1: Beat sugar and butter or margarine until light and fluffy.
<br>step 2: Add sour cream and eggs, blend well.
<br>step 3: Stir in sifted flour and remaining ingredients, mix well.
<br>step 4: Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
<br>step 5: Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 8 to 11 minutes, or until edges are light golden brown.   Immediately remove from cookie sheets.
