Osgood Pie Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 2 cups white sugar
<br>- 1 cup butter
<br>- 4  eggs, separated
<br>- 1 cup chopped pecans
<br>- 1 cup golden raisins
<br>- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
<br>- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
<br>- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
<br>- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie

<br>step 1: Cream together butter and sugar.  Mix in egg yolks, and then the spices.  Fold in the fruit and nuts.
<br>step 2: In another bowl, beat egg whites until firm.  Fold into fruit and nut mixture.  Divide into two pie shells.
<br>step 3: Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 45 minutes.
