Pie Crust II Recipe
- 5 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 pound lard, chilled and cut into small pieces
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
step 1: In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in lard until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in lemon-lime soda until mixture forms a ball. Divide dough in quarters and shape into balls. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
