Piereth Pie II Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
<br>- 1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
<br>- ½ cup butter, softened
<br>- ¾ cup white sugar
<br>- ½ cup slivered almonds
<br>- 2  eggs
<br>- 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
<br>- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
<br>- ½ cup grated semisweet chocolate

<br>step 1: In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate until melted. Stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth.
<br>step 2: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in nuts and melted chocolate. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Pour mixture into baked pastry shell and place in refrigerator.
<br>step 3: Prepare pudding according to package directions. Pour over chocolate layer and return to refrigerator. Chill at least 2 hours. Before serving, spread whipped topping over pudding layer and sprinkle with grated chocolate.
