Prize Winning Oatmeal Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
<br>- 1 teaspoon baking soda
<br>- 1 teaspoon salt
<br>- 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
<br>- ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
<br>- 2 cups rolled oats
<br>- ½ cup packed brown sugar
<br>- ½ cup white sugar
<br>- 1 cup shortening
<br>- 2  eggs
<br>- ⅓ cup milk
<br>- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
<br>- 1 cup raisins

<br>step 1: Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
<br>step 2: Add oatmeal, brown sugar, white sugar, shortening, eggs, milk, and vanilla. Mix together.  Stir in 1 cup of chopped walnuts.
<br>step 3: Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheets.  Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)  for 10 to 12 minutes.
