Pumpkin Figs Pie Recipe

Ingredients
<br>- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
<br>- 2  pears - peeled, cored and sliced
<br>- 1 ½ cups pumpkin puree
<br>- ½ cup dried figs, soaked and chopped
<br>- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)

<br>step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
<br>step 2: Place the pie crust into a pie plate, and arrange pear slices in the bottom. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven.
<br>step 3: While the pears are baking, combine the pumpkin, soaked figs, and sugar in a blender or food processor. Process until smooth. Pour over the pears.
<br>step 4: Bake for an additional 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until crust is golden and pears are tender. Serve warm or cold.
