Coconut Cream Pie III Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons butter
- ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup flaked coconut
Directions
step 1: Mix together sugar, flour, and nutmeg. Beat in eggs. Add milk and butter or margarine, and stir. Stir in coconut. Pour filling into unbaked pie shell.
step 2: Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees ) for 25 minutes.
